Protective coatings are generally acrylic, epoxy and polyurethane based resins that find many applications in reinforced concrete and steel structures mainly for durability and prevention of corrosion but also for aesthetics which covers structures such as flyovers, bridges, underpasses, tunnels, water tanks, silos, storage tanks, sewage treatment plants etc.

Acrylic based anti-carbonation coating for exposed concrete structures prevents ingress of CO2 thereby maintaining the alkalinity of the concrete which is crucial for the protection of the reinforced steel whereas epoxy based protective coating with zinc based primer and aliphatic acrylic polyurethane / polysiloxane topcoat is ideal for exposed steel structures
